TRIP DESCRIPTION
This trip is an add-on for people visiting the Hartbeespoort Cableway and who are wondering what else to do (or how to keep the youngsters busy) once they're on top.
We have a fantastic 50m abseil set up 200m from the upper cable station. This is a great abseil for those
who are less confident of their abseiling skills (or even those who have never done it before). The take-off
is easy and the entire descent goes down a 50m long face - no overhangs to scare you!
During your abseil we will have you connected to a separate safety line manned by us. In the event that
you lose control we will not permit you to fall.
We will provide all technical equipment, which includes:
- Harness
- Helmet
- Ropes
- Abseil device and connectors
Costs do not include the Cableway ticket to the top.
This is a GREAT trip for those who find
themselves in or near Gauteng (Johannesburg / Pretoria) or staying at
Sun City and have a day to spare. If you've planned your holiday and
find that you have one day to spare then consider this as a time-filler.
